Ultrasound

Ultrasound technology is used to visualize the soft tissues of the body.  It is most commonly used to diagnose tendon and ligament injuries.  It can also look for abnormalities in the abdomen or chest.  

For tendon or ligament injuries, follow-up ultrasound exams help us to track the healing process and to prescribe an appropriate rehabilitation program for your horse.
